We are proud to announce that….

Bader Heritage Band has arisen from Bader’s Big Band

 

We were deeply saddened by the fact that the Douglas Bader Foundation – our parent organisation – closed its doors in 2024, after 42+ fantastic years of supporting disability in so many ways.

 

Being the first disabled Big Band in the UK was an amazing concept and we decided we couldn’t let the band close with the charity as it has such an important and timeless message to keep delivering – we have had some fantastic support from James and his team @ Bader Media Entertainment cic

Music-wise, we strive to produce a quality professional sound and we are very versatile being able to field a full Big Band, Jazz Combo, Sax Ensemble, or Ceilidh Band anywhere in the country.  We are also available for education, workshops and talks and we are very much invested in the welfare side of communities too.  We are always on the lookout for opportunities to perform​.
